The Sellaronda ski route runs directly in front of our small boutique hotel (with breakfast included) Garni Hotel Arya Alpine Lodge, with the end of the descent from Plan de Gralba only eight meters away. Surrounded by the snow-covered peaks of the Dolomites, blue skies and plenty of sunshine, you’ll experience unforgettable skiing in Selva Val Gardena, one of the most popular ski resorts in South Tyrol and the heart of the Dolomiti Superski area.

The world-famous Sellaronda is one of the most spectacular ski circuits in the Alps. It connects four breathtaking Dolomite mountain passes: Passo Gardena, Campolongo Pass, Passo Pordoi and Passo Sella, combining perfectly prepared slopes, modern lifts and magnificent mountain scenery into one unforgettable ski experience.

How do you access the Sellaronda from Garni Hotel Arya Alpine Lodge?

You can choose between the Sellaronda Orange (clockwise) and the Sellaronda Green (counter-clockwise).

To join the Sellaronda Orange, simply cross the stainless-steel pedestrian bridge just around the corner from our lodge. From there, the Costabella chairlift takes you towards Dantercepies, Colfosco and Corvara.

The Sellaronda Green starts conveniently with the Ciampinoi gondola, that can also be reached on foot, or via the Frëina-ski-lift in front of our lodge on skis. At the end of the day, you can ski all the way back to the Garni Hotel Arya Alpine Lodge → no ski bus, no car, just effortless ski-in convenience.

Our hotel bh&b Arya Alpine Lodge enjoys an exceptional location in Selva Val Gardena, directly beside the slopes at the foot of Ciampinoi and at the end of the Sellaronda descent from Plan de Gralba.

The Sellaronda passes right by our doorstep, allowing you to step onto your skis and immediately access the famous 26-kilometre Sellaronda ski circuit. From here, you can explore the surrounding Ladin valleys and neighbouring Dolomite ski resorts before skiing comfortably back to the hotel, all without using a ski bus or your car.

Dolomiti Superski & Even More Skiing Beyond the Sellaronda

The Sellaronda is part of the extensive Dolomiti Superski network, one of the world’s largest interconnected ski areas.

From Selva Val Gardena, countless ski adventures await beyond the Sellaronda itself.

Highly recommended is the ski tour to the Marmolada Glacier (Punta Rocca, 3,265 m). From Malga Ciapela, you can even continue onto the First World War Ski Tour, passing Alleghe, Civetta and Lagazuoi.

Other unforgettable day trips include skiing to Lagazuoi via Passo Falzarego, the Cinque Torri near Cortina d’Ampezzo or the renowned Gran Risa World Cup giant slalom course.
